It is very exciting to travel to tourist destinations. Before embarking on this journey, tourists should consider and think about where to spend the night when they are already there. They should also think where to get food to eat.

Most travelers who have extra money to spend will typically be making reservations for a room in a hotel. However, for most of those visitors who are on a tight budget, they might consider staying in Stone Ridge Bed and Breakfast. Usually, this type of lodging is significantly cheaper than most hotels. Both lodgings and one meal already comprise the daily room rate. No other meals will be served, though.

Reading and understanding the policies about staying in bed and breakfast should be of utmost importance to the guest so that misunderstanding will not occur. He may also evaluate room rates and payment schemes. If he has other inquiries, he may directly ask the innkeeper. The innkeeper will be able to answer these queries and provide clarifications.

In cases that he may have to cancel the reservation he made, the traveler should be mindful of the cancellation procedures. This is to ensure that he will not be paying cancellation fees or penalties. He should also make inquiries if pets are free to roam the place and stay there, if he has a pet traveling with him. For smokers, a designated smoking area is put up in most lodgings as these establishments usually have no smoking policies.

If reservations have been made, the innkeeper would usually expect the traveler to come on time. In instances where the traveler will arrive late, it is a good gesture to inform the owner. This way, the host will be able to do other necessary things instead of waiting.

It is expected that other guests will also be staying there. Within the duration of his stay, he should be able to respect the rights of the owner and the guests, as well as their privacy. He should not make loud noises or play music loudly. He should not spend a long time using the bathroom as other visitors may be in need of using it. Upon leaving, the bathroom should be cleaned.

The tourist should be eating his meal within the allotted time for morning meals. Most of these places have a certain time frame for breakfast. If he has any concerns regarding the time frame, he may discuss them with the host. Both individuals may reach a consensus and take the necessary steps to enact this.

The traveler should be able to notify the owner immediately regarding any amenities that may not be working properly as well as appliances that may have been damaged. As a sign of respect, he should not do this during midnight or wee hours where everybody is asleep. This act is justifiable, though, in cases of real emergency.

When it is time to leave, the tourist should not take items belonging to the place home. He should also leave the furniture and things in the condition that they were in before he came. As a part of etiquette, he should also thank the owner upon checking out.
