Are you single? Looking to have some real fun? If your answer is yes, then this article is a must-read for you. Don't worry, this article is certainly not about suggesting dating sites, and it also doesn't teach you how to handle the miseries of being single. This article will not make you any better or worse as a single person, but it will certainly provide you with an insightful view of the most popular idea being used by singles, all across the world- a DIY vacation Costa Rica.

Yes, lots of people go on rafting trips by themselves, but if you hate camping and would be terrified by swirling rapids, it makes little sense to head for a river. Remember that the greatest advantage of traveling by yourself is the freedom to do exactly what you like best. The more carefully you analyze what you are hoping for, the more likely you are to find it. Suppose, for example, that you want to visit the south of France.

A traveler has two basic options- you can either travel solo to have some privacy and ensure great peace of mind, or you can opt to travel with a group of other singles who you might strike a chord with.

If you have the same destination in mind but want a less strenuous trip, you might look into a learning vacation, one that stresses cooking, learning a foreign language, architecture, photography or art. For a younger scene, consider tours geared to those under 35.

You can choose to visit the tour spot of the city during the day or even go on shopping with other like minded single and in the evening you could catch up with co solo travelers over a drink or even share your dinner table with these single guests. The choice is entirely yours.

In my opinion, it will be a huge mistake not to go on a singles vacation or a solo vacation; as such a vacation is one that actually lives up to its promises and claims and leaves you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated with a fulfilling and enriching experience.

A singles holiday is a rare opportunity where you get to spend some quality time with yourself as well as other like-minded people. Letting such an opportunity pass by you would mean ignoring a chance that your life has given you to make it better; it would mean neglecting your mind, body, and soul; and lastly, it would also mean, that you are saying NO to your own happiness.

Are you willing to spend time and effort researching and planning your trip? Most of all, are you an optimist, ready to make the most of what you have rather than pining about what is missing? If the answers are yes, don't hesitate to try a trip by yourself; often going solo is the most rewarding way to go.
