Visiting the Caribbean for a family vacation is definitely a perfect way to create some life long memories. Relaxing and having fun in a slice of paradise with activities and treats for everyone will ensure that everyone gets the most out of the experience. Here is a list of the various kinds of all inclusive family resort Jamaica has to offer.

Beaches is basically the family version of the world-renowned Sandals group. There are two Beaches resorts in Jamaica. Boscobel is located on the island's north coast, about a two-hour-long drive away from Montego Bay. It is located just past Ocho Rios. Meanwhile, Beaches Negril can be found on the island's west coast.

Boscobel boasts several kids' programs for all ages. There is also an infant care service, which parents can take advantage of when they need to relax or enjoy quality time with the other children. Older kids can enjoy the gaming centers on site and the younger children will love taking advantage of Beaches' partnership with Sesame Street. On site, there are activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, novelty pools and golf for all ages.

Like Boscobel, Negril has a partnership with Sesame Street. Situated on a beach seven miles long with 1000 feet of shore, this will be a holiday to remember. Snorkeling and scuba diving are also on offer here, but there are also boat trips available for snorkeling at the coral reef. At Negril itself, there are river pools and water slides for everyone to enjoy.

Franklin D is a resort that stands out from others in that it is geared especially towards families. Found on the north coast, this resort is extra special for the added feature of a vacation nanny for every family that checks in. This nanny works from nine in the morning until four in the afternoon, but can be available into the evening for a small hourly fee. She will chaperon the kids to any activities so that parents can also get a little break.

Franklin D features large suites for guests - 76 of them in total - with boardwalk dining and lots to do for the entire family. Magic shows, dancers and fire eaters are just some of the attractions when staying here. Tennis, bike rides, glass bottom boat rides, windsurfing, power walks for the adults and kayaking are but a handful of the many activities on offer.

The Half Moon Resort is really about as good as it gets when it comes to families. Located in Montego Bay, just 10 minutes away from the airport, this accommodation is free for children under twelve when they are rooming with adults. Furthermore, anyone under the age of twelve gets half off of all meals.

Half Moon has a number of different options for every budget. Superior rooms and even private villas are available, with up to 7 bedrooms in a private villa. The all-inclusive Platinum Plan for a private villa comes with its own pool, a butler service and a cook. Guests also receive a golf cart of their own to move around the 400 acres of Half Moon with. Half Moon boasts 3 free-form pools for everyone to share, an Olympic-sized pool, a putting green and championship golf course and tennis courts.
