When planning to go on an airboat tour for the first time, you may not be aware of the essential things to carry. It can be a fun activity for your vacation. However, when you do not bring the right stuff for the ride, you may end up regretting. Therefore, these are the things you should have with you when taking the airboat marshland tours.

Having a camera to help you get all those memories will be best. There is nothing worse than having a missed opportunity. When on your ride, you are likely going to see various things that you have not before. Therefore, with a camera, you can capture such elements. If you cannot afford one, then having your smartphone is good enough. Ensure you charge it before the ride.

Sunscreen for protection against the harsh sun is also something you need. The sun can be damaging to your skin, and you may end up having sunburns. If you want to avoid this, then look for sunscreen ideal for your skin type. Apply it before going for the ride and after you get back. Look at the SPF on the bottle before purchasing it to ensure it is high enough.

The worst things that you can experience during your trip are bugs. They tend to be annoying when they go past your ear. Therefore, as you pack, be sure to include bug spray. Stagnant water tends to be an excellent breeding ground for insects like mosquitoes. As you are putting on your bug spray, be cautious not to avoid any apparent spots that are quickly forgotten.

Maintaining your hair is vital. Have you ever ridden in a convertible? If the answer is yes, you understand how difficult it is to keep your hair from getting messy. It will likely end up all over the face and annoy you. The boat ride will not be any better. Keep your mid-sized or long hairs in a bun. For short hair, having a hat will be helpful.

Your eyes are a sensitive part of the body. You may not have any issues with your eyes, but they can be affected when the wind is blowing on them while still having the sun shining on them. That experience is sure to take a toll on the eyes. Thus, it is recommended that you bring with you a pair of sunglasses during the tour. If you have prescription glasses, all you need is a hat for additional protection.

Carrying portable chargers and batteries is also vital. When taking the tour, you might be tempted to take a lot of pictures that you end up having a low battery on your phone. The good thing is that portable chargers have been introduced, and they take a short time to put the charge higher. Carrying an extra battery for your camera is an excellent idea.

Memory cards are also other essentials for your trip. Taking photos is an integral part of your tour, and you do not want to miss a special moment. To avoid being forced to free up storage by deleting some pictures, you should have extra memory cards to change when others are out of space.
