The Origins Of The Legends Behind The Plush Unicorn

Unicorns are mythical animals that are usually presented as a horse that have a single, straight horn on its forehead. These have been confused in various times with the rhinoceros. It has a body which resembles a horse and a head of a deer and even of an elephant in some legends. The horns are said to posses magical properties. These have been widely depicted in movies and cartoons and is basically the reason why the plush unicorns are very popular.

Medieval legends suggested that this animal sported a spiral horn which was then called an alicorn. This is why unicorns are being hunted for their horns and was thought to be able to neutralize the poisons in the body. This was what was usually available in the area. During such ties, many traders repeatedly sold these alicorns which were actually narwall husks.

In the Biblical context, an animal called the reem has been mentioned in the Bible several times. This has often been interpreted as a metaphor for strength. This was then followed by an inscription that describes the reem as a wild, untamed, able and an animal that is very agile and strong. It has also been depicted in the ancient Mesopotamian profile.

Another legend was of the biblical character named Noah who gathered two animals of every kind in the area. It was said that the unicorns were not included, thus their extinction from the society today. In the Chinese myth, these are usually colored green and is depicted to have the head of a lion. These have been evidenced by such accounts during the era.

During the middle ages, the version of the legend was derived from the biblical and ancient sources. Many books have compiled about the bestiary during the phenomenon. This was then popularized by an allegory wherein the animals was said to be trapped by a maiden and stood for the incarnation. It has then cemented its reputation for the masses to have.

In the Indus civilization, there were objects that were unearthed that belonged to the Harappa and Mohenjo Daro sites in the valley. These were small stone seals with inscriptions of the depictions of the animals including a one horned figure. Most of them are beginning to make some corrections over the being in the area.

In Denmark, it was believe that the royal throne was then made of the horns of unicorns, but has been found to be made of narwhal tusks. This is the same material that was used in ceremonial cups. It is believed to be able to neutralize the poisons in the body. More people are going to make sure that they get the best.

Ancient Greek writers were convinced of the reality of the unicorns. Even the philosopher Aristotle has also mentioned these figures in his book and described it as an Indian ass. Roman period mentions the oryx and the Indain ox. These was then followed by a subscription that these were ferocious beast and would be better for them.

Plush unicorn is a favorite toy of little girls in the area. Many of them are starting to ensure the best things in the area. Some of them can get to have the best things in the area. People should get to make the most in the end.
