Autism or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) as it is usually referred to is a lifelong and progressive disease. It affects an individuals ability to communicate effectively with others and form relationships with people. There is no cure for it and it is usually picked up within the first few years of a person's life. There are certain companies that cater to the needs of these people, such as the Disney World autism team.

People from all walks of life are born with this disorder. Some people come from rich backgrounds and others come from poor backgrounds but that makes no difference as this disease is not selective. It affects people and families from all walks of life and the amount of money you have is irrelevant when it comes to this brain disorder as there is no cure for it.

This is a brain disorder and it affects and impairs a person's ability to communicate and form relationships with people around them. These people often don't even have relationships with immediate members of their family. Those who suffer from this disorder also struggle to understand complex concepts.

People are born with this disorder everyday. The geographical location of the person does not matter as people all around the globe. No matter who you are and where you come from, no one is exempt from this disease. It doesn't matter what part of the world you come from or how much of money you have, this disease can affect any family at any time.

Children are born with the brain disorder. Parents usually pick up that something isn't right in the first 3 years of their child's life. Although, it is good to know what is wrong with your child, the unfortunate thing about this disorder is that there is no cure for it and nothing that can make your child normal. So it is progressive in nature.

It is not clear as to what brings on this disorder and how to avoid it, however, it is not the end of the world. Parents who are not enlightened, could blame themselves, thinking that it is something that they did to cause it or bring it on, however, this is not true and there is no proven reason for this condition. Life still goes on and these people can still live long lives.

More research is continuously being done in an effort to better understand autism and how to cope with it. As a result more parents are venturing out with their children and trying to lead their lives as normally and happily as they possibly can, given the situation.

Although there is no cure for this condition, parents can still remain positive and try and have as normal a life with their child or possible. So make sure that you learn more about the condition so that you can cope better and create a better life for your child and yourself in the process.
