How to Get To and From the McCarran International Airport

Las Vegas is a wonderful city. Whether you are visiting Vegas for business meetings or just to have pure pleasure, you can guarantee that you will have an awful good time. As a matter of fact, right after your plane landed on the McCarran International Airport, you will be in awe to discover that you can start to fun because the airport has 251 gambling machines inside. It has more than 1,234 slot machines located all throughout the airport terminals.

McCarran International Airport is serving over 40 air carriers, at present time. Approximately over 1,000 flights arrive and depart on a daily basis. McCarran International Airport also provides domestic flights to more than 125 cities in the United States.

There are many options available for transfers to and from the airport. An airport shuttle is one way. It can get you to your hotel from the airport. Group shuttles are an affordable option too.

Taxi Cabs - A large number of taxi cabs are parked just outside the baggage claim area. You may also find airport staff that can provide you help any time or even hire the taxi cab for you.

Taxis are another way to get around to and from the airport. Currently, there are more than 10 taxi cab companies serving the Las Vegas area. Taxis are available on Terminals 1 and 3, and they are easily located on the east side of baggage claims and outside Level Zero, respectively.

The major taxi cab companies in Las Vegas are Deluxe Taxi Cab Service, Lucky Cab Company, Nellis Cab Company and Western Cab Company. Taxi cabs can also be found on the McCarran Rent-a-Car Center.

The Las Vegas Monorail is another transportation options, however, it does not go straight to the airport. A single ride ticket costs about $5. One-day pass is $12. The Las Vegas Monorail prides itself into meeting 99% of scheduled stops on time.

The public bus operated by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada provides services to and from the airport as well. But, the bus stop is only at Terminal 1 and does not provide services to Terminal 3.
