This region is known for its incredible scenery and its wonderful array of outdoor activities. Fishing, hiking, backpacking and canoeing are all activities one can enjoy during Canada's long summer days. Winter visitors can enjoy snowshoeing, snowmobiling and skiing. Each season offers new activities to partake of.

There are many cabins in British Columbia for tourist to stay in. There are many great mountains to climb. For those who enjoy hiking and sightseeing, there are many trails to hike and many sites to see and photograph. Picturesque lakes and cascading waterfalls give the region beauty and elegance. There are also rivers to canoe or fish in. Anglers pursue salmon, trout and grayling in this region.

Canadian Rockies chalets give travelers an opportunity to experience one of the most scenic areas in all of North America, if not the world. Wildlife viewing here is fantastic and the scenery is breathtaking. Making reservations early is important because the cabins tend to fill up quickly. Summer is the peak tourism season, but many places stay booked in the spring and fall also. Winter recreation also draws in visitors and some cabins stay open year round.
