In 1965 MAS became Malaysia-Singapore Airlines due to the separation of Singapore from Malaysia. In 1973 it became Malaysian Airline Limited after the end of a partnership with Singapore. Today it is known as Malaysia airlines. Its excellent services and professionalism of its staff made it capable of getting more than 100 awards in a decade.

SKYTRAX ranked it as a 5- Star Airline and awarded it with other awards like World's best Cabin Crew Economy Class Onboard Excellence World's Best Economy Class Award and Staff Service Excellence for Asia Award in 2006. World Travel Awards awarded it with Asia's Leading Business Class Airline Award and World's Leading Airline to Asia Award. Malaysia airline has the best services and facilities for its passengers.

These services include services and facilities for children medical care while travelling and special meal requests for First Class Passengers known as Chef-on-Call. It is pre-flight order service having 25 meal options. Other services include the Select-in-flight entertainment having an Audio Video on Demand In-seat Video Overhead Screens and Portable Media Player for Business Class Passengers Temptations In-Flight Shopping and a Golden Lounge to take rest before your flight.
