Rocky Point Mexico Has So Much To Offer

Puerto Penasco Mexico, or better yet, Rocky Point Mexico is a vacation place for Americans for as far back as I can remember. A quaint little fishing village that is situated only 45 minutes past the border town of Sonoita, it offers tranquility and the simple things in life.

When I used to travel to Rocky Point, the beaches were barren with people off roading along the beach all hours of the day and night. If you venture there now you will see towering condos that line the beaches now and you are not allowed to off road on the beaches anymore.

Rocky Point has flourished with the building the condominiums along Sandy Beach. The local town has seen increased dollars pour into the infrastructures of the city and help thousands. People from all over the map are now seeking retirement homes along the sands of Sandy Beach. Whether you are investing or seeking a place to lay your hat when you finally call it quits, it is a great destination.

It is not uncommon to be sitting in your condo on the top floors and see dolphins playing in the ocean and birds diving for their next meal. If you sit out on the porch at night you can see a long line of lights off in the distance which are the local shrimping boats. During the day you can watch folks strolling along the beach or small planes cruising along the coastline taking in the view. It has become a relaxing get away for people from all over and one of the main attractions is how close it remains to the border.

It has been a long time coming but the road to California for Rocky Point is now open for business. In addition to the road being open, flights are now available to fly to Rocky Point with it being anticipated that more will follow. With Mayan Palace and other big businesses taking up real estate in Rocky Point, more will certainly follow as well. In addition to this, food chains and fine restaurants can be found everywhere with more and more being added each year.

There is so much to do in this beautiful town such as: fishing, boating, sailing, dinner cruises, kayaking and sunbathing to name a few. No matter what your taste or flavor, there is something for everyone. One of the favorite things to do in Rocky Point is to watch the sunset and stroll along the beautiful Sandy Beach. It definitely is one of my favorites.

Rocky Point Mexico is an up and coming vacation getaway and has recently been featured on Househunters International. It's visibility has increased internationally and will continue to rise. With the cruise ship being offered within the next year and the new international airport and new condos, Rocky Point will be a place to go for years to come.
