Golf is a game that needs a lot of patience, timing, details, focus, and correct posture. What many people do not pay attention to is the correct way the body should be positioned and how each individual body part must move in order to perform the correct swing. The answer to how can I improve my golf game is to simply pay attention to all of the little things like the movement of the feet, legs, arms, and waist.

The first thing to concentrate on would be the feet because the feet are the one that will make use of the gravity to create force. Firstly, the feet should be positioned at shoulder width with foot behind the ball having a little more weight than the one in the front. Having this type of foot positioning is the most basic stance for any golfer to have.

If foot positioning is very crucial to the game, then foot movement would be even more important. Take note that the foot with more weight in it will be the one that will push the entire body in an upward centrifugal movement to give force. The correct timing and foot movement will produce a very strong shot that will bring the ball forward.

The force from the feet will be going up to the waist which means that the waist will also be participating in the movement. The circular movement of the hip is extremely important because it adds to the force of the swing. Circular movement is the secret force behind the power of many professional golfers.

Always remember that stability is as important power because if the body is not steady enough, then the shot will be a wild one. So in order to ensure both power and stability, it is always important for a golfer to keep his arm close or sticking to his hip. This will enable him to keep the arm from going wild.

Now the last body part to concentrate on would be the arms because this is the body part that will directly transfer the power from the club to the ball. The secret here is to relax the arms but have a tight grip on the club so that the shot will be nice and smooth. No one would want a stray ball because that will ruin the game.

What a lot of players do not know is that the club also plays a big role in the swing. One secret that a lot of golfers do not really share is that when one makes the swing, he has to hit the ball with the center of the club. This will enable the shot to be both solid and strong at the exact same time.

The answer to how can I improve my golf game is to simply take time before making the shot. In order to make sure that the shot goes well, then it is important to always make sure to get the basics first. One slight mishap in positioning and movement can actually cause a loss.
